Shuffling cards is one of the most essential and basic card skills that most people develop in their lives. It took me a long time to learn how to shuffle when I was younger, but now it feels easy, and I want to learn a new, more artistic way to do it. This week, I tried to learn two shuffles that use the same concept: the faro shuffle and the cascade shuffle.

I decided to explore YouTube Shorts instead of normal YouTube videos for this week, and I found a good tutorial on the faro and cascade. The youtube short is a good medium for this because it keeps the videos straight to the point. I was able to get confident with the faro shuffle, but I haven’t quite figured out the cascade. Here is a video of me doing both of these shuffles.
